Cooking tip: how to quickly peel an egg

Tired of taking half of the egg away when peeling it ? Me too! I saw once on the Internet how to peel an egg quickly and have been doing it ever since:

  1. Once your egg is done cooking, put in in cold water for ten minutes.
  2. Putt your egg in a jar, a box or anything with a lid. Pour a bit of water in it, the egg must not be fully immersed.
  3. Close the lid carefully and shake.

Once you take the egg out, the shell is still in place but broken in pieces. You can peel like usual: the shell is coming right off.

I made a small video you can watch on Facebook to get a better idea on how to do it.
